Coach 1961-1987, Administrator 1972-1983
After twenty-three seasons, Bill Faller is approaching 600 baseball wins with the Indians. Â His teams have won 18 league and 11 conference championships, with seven of the conference titles coming in the last ten years.
A college teammate of Chuck "Bobo" Brayton at Washington State University (1946-1948), Faller came to YVC in 1961, taking over as both football and baseball coach, and continued in the dural roll for four years. Â His fourth and final year as football coach proved to be YVC's best season ever on the gridiron as the 1964 team won the conference championship with a 7-1 record. Â His four-year football record at YVCÂ was 19-15.
Faller also served as assistant basketball coach under Ellwood Crosier for two years and from 1967-1972 was assistant athletic director under Glen Sherar.  He became athletic director and division chairman when Sherar retired in 1972 and continued as AD until his resignation from that position in 1983.  He also served as YVC's conference athletic commissioner and as a Region III representative on the NWAC Executive Board. He was inducted into the NWAC Hall of Fame in 1991.
